Many people travel abroad for holidays or business purposes. There are some places in the world where you might bring home more than you bargained for!  Tropical diseases may be serious and many are preventable. Whether you are a backpacker, a volunteer, on business or pleasure travel, you will need to plan your travel healthcare.

Medmark provides a comprehensive package of travel healthcare and has Department of Health and Children recognition as a designated yellow fever vaccination centre.

We provide:

Pre-travel health assessments

This assessment is not just an assessment of your current health and suitability for travel; it is also an assessment of the health risks depending on your destination and purpose. We are experienced and knowledgeable on the more risky and dangerous locations for a traveller.

Travel medication (standby prescriptions)

It is better to be safe than sorry! We may suggest that you consider bringing some basic medication, including first aid items, so you are prepared for eventualities. We can provide you with a prescription for medications to be taken in case of an emergency.

  • Yellow fever
  • Tetanus
  • Polio
